Lactulose Fresenius Oral Solution is a gentle, effective treatment for constipation. It contains lactulose, which works by drawing water into the bowel to soften stools and make them easier to pass.

This oral solution is not absorbed into the body, making it suitable for ongoing use under pharmacist or doctor supervision. It can be taken with or without food, and usually produces results within 2–3 days. Lactulose can also be used for managing certain liver-related conditions such as portal systemic encephalopathy, under doctor supervision.
